To qualify for an HSBC Advance relationship, you are required to:
1 To qualify for an HSBC Advance relationship, you need to open an HSBC Advance checking account and maintain combined U.S. personal deposit and investment* balances of at least $10,000 OR at least $5,000 with a recurring direct deposit from a third party to an HSBC Advance checking account at least once per monthly cycle. Business owners may use their HSBC commercial balances to qualify for a personal HSBC Advance relationship. A monthly maintenance fee of $25 will be incurred if minimum balance or minimum balance with direct deposit requirement is not met.
2 To qualify for an HSBC Premier relationship, you need to open an HSBC Premier checking account and maintain $100,000 in combined U.S. personal deposit and investment* balances. Business owners may use their commercial balances to qualify for a personal HSBC Premier relationship. A monthly maintenance fee of $50 will be incurred if minimum balance requirements are not maintained.
3 You may be charged additional fees by the ATM operator or network used including a fee by another HSBC entity operating ATMs outside the U.S. Foreign currency conversion rates may still apply.
4 Available only on U.S. non-HSBC ATM transactions (except in New York State) initiated from HSBC Advance checking, HSBC Advance Savings, and HSBC Promotional Advance Savings. HSBC will rebate up to four qualifying ATM third-party surcharge fees incurred based on transaction date order during the calendar month. The rebate will be credited to your account on the first business day of the following calendar month.
5 HSBC Advance Mastercard® credit cards are issued by HSBC Bank USA, N.A., subject to credit approval and require an U.S. HSBC Advance1 or Premier2 relationship. To learn more, speak with an HSBC branch representative.
6 HSBC Advance Mastercard® credit card: The information about the costs and benefits of the card described is accurate as of 09/01/2017. The information may have changed after that date. To find out what may have changed, call 1.888.385.8916. The 0% Introductory APR does not apply to cash advances and overdrafts. After the Introductory Period, a variable Purchase APR of 13.99% or 17.99%, depending on your creditworthiness, will apply to credit card purchases. After the Introductory Period, a variable Balance Transfer APR of 13.99% or 17.99%, depending on your creditworthiness, will apply to balance transfers and credit card checks. The variable Cash APR applies to cash advances and overdrafts and is 25.99%. Your APRs may increase to the variable Penalty APR of 30.99% if you fail to make a minimum payment to us when due. These APRs will vary with the market based on the Prime Rate. For each billing cycle, variable APRs are calculated by adding a specified amount (“Spread”) to the U.S. Prime Rate published in the Money Rates table of The Wall Street Journal that is in effect on the last day of the month (“Prime Rate”). If the Prime Rate changes, the new APRs will take effect on the first day of your billing cycle beginning in the next month. The Minimum Interest Charge is $1.00. A Balance Transfer Fee of either $10 or 3%, whichever is greater, will apply on each balance transfer and credit card check. A Cash Advance Fee of either $10 or 3%, whichever is greater, will apply on each cash advance transaction. A $0 Annual Fee will apply for HSBC Advance MasterCard® credit card Account customers who have a qualifying U.S. HSBC Advance1 or U.S. HSBC Premier2 checking account relationship. A $45 Annual Fee will apply for HSBC Advance MasterCard® credit card Account customers who no longer have a qualifying U.S. HSBC Advance1 or U.S. HSBC Premier2 checking account relationship. The Annual Fee will not be assessed to your credit card Account within the first year of Account opening. An Overdraft Transaction Fee of $10 or 3%, whichever is greater, will apply on the overdraft amount, if applicable.
7 Requires you be registered for HSBC Personal Internet Banking and have your credentials readily available. Data charges from your mobile service provider may apply. HSBC Bank USA, N.A. is not responsible for these charges.
8 To be eligible for an HSBC Advance Deluxe Mortgage, you must: (A) be an HSBC Advance relationship customer with a U.S. Advance checking account; and (B) have combined U.S. personal deposit and investment* balances of at least $10,000 at any member of the HSBC Group located in the U.S. The Advance balance requirement must be fully funded before the closing of the mortgage loan.
9 Discounts and loan amount depend on specific program and may require certain Advance balances, reserves, equity and automatic payment from an HSBC U.S. Advance checking account. For home equity accounts, the Advance APR includes an auto-pay discount of .25%.
10 To be eligible for an HSBC Advance home equity line of credit, you must be an Advance relationship customer with a U.S. Advance checking account.
11 This tool is a personal financial management service that allows customers to consolidate and manage their financial information by consolidating it in one place on Personal Internet Banking.
12 International account opening is not available in all countries and is subject to approval based on local regulations and policies of country or application. HSBC Advance customers receive a 50% discount off the $200 service fee for all onboarding services.
13 U.S. HSBC Advance customers can receive an emergency encashment of up to U.S. $10,000 or local currency equivalent upon authorization from local country. You will just need to show proper identification at any HSBC branch. Encashment is dependent on available balance; local country limitations may apply.
14 Global View and Global Transfers are only available for HSBC Premier and HSBC Advance clients and are not available in all countries. Foreign currency exchange rates and local country limitations may apply. Transfers from HSBC accounts from outside the U.S. may be subject to transfer fees. Personal Internet Banking is required to access Global View and Global Transfers. Access to U.S. Personal Internet Banking through Global View from outside the U.S. may be limited.
15 The maximum outbound and inbound limit for U.S. HSBC accounts is $200,000 per transaction and per day. Other countries may have local limit restrictions. Check with your destination country for limit information.
