How to request a credit limit increase for your HSBC Credit Card

You can request a credit limit increase through online banking or in the HSBC U.S. Mobile Banking app[@appinfo].

Mobile banking

The easiest way to request a credit limit increase is through our mobile app.

1. Log on to the mobile app.
2. Choose the relevant credit card from the account summary screen.
3. Select 'Manage card' at the top of the screen. You’ll enter the credit cards servicing website.
4. Select the menu icon at the top left of the screen, then 'Manage card', and 'Credit Limit Increase'.
5. Follow the instructions on the screen to request your credit limit increase.

Online banking

1. Log on to online banking.
2. Choose the relevant credit card from the account summary screen.
3. Select 'Manage' on the right side of the screen, then 'Manage card and alerts'. You’ll enter the credit cards servicing website.
4. Select the menu icon at the top left of the screen, then 'Manage card' and 'Credit Limit Increase'.
5. Follow the instructions on the screen to request your credit limit increase.
